Learning Opportunities

Classes and Workshops sharing skills and information

ACCL offers a broad range of workshops and classes for immigrants and refugees. These classes and workshops take place in ACCL’s office space, led by members of the African immigrant community, ACCL board members and volunteers, and other local experts. In the recent past, ACCL has partnered with CTI to offer an entrepreneurship class, and with UMass Lowell to offer computer skills classes.

For information about classes now being offered, please visit

the ACCL Events page of this website.

In the works for 2025: additional computer skills classes; a financial literacy class for youth and adults; youth leadership training (including public speaking, preparation for job applications and being in the workplace, life skills, and strategies to be excellent citizens); monthly citizenship workshops; and small-group ESL classes.
